Simon Amsel WOODBOURNE Simon Amsel, 62, of Woodbourne, died Wednesday at Community General Hospita, Monticello. The son of Irving and Gizella Klein Amsel, he was born Dec. 18, 1913 in Hungary.

Married to the former Bessie Lipsky, he lived in the area for five years. He was a retired letter carrier and a member of the Woodbourne Synagogue, Jewish War Veterans, Knights of Pythias and the National Association of Letter Carriers. He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Evelyn Berliner of Bronx and Nancy Madnick of South Fallsburg; a son, Jeffrey of Woodbourne; four sisters, Yolanda Klein of Cornwall Heights, Caroline Byron of Laurelton, Frieda Freidman of Philadelphia and Gloria Feibush of Monsey; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday 9:30 a.m. at the Woodbourne Synagogue with Rabbis Alvin Las-kin and Julius Kreitman officiating.

Burial will he at the Hebron Cemetery, Flushing. Funeral arrangements were made by Garlick Funeral Homes, 186 Bioadway, Monticello. Stephen J. Rant GRAHAMSVILLE Stephen J. Rant, 53, of suddenly Tuesday in West Yarmouth.

The son of Francis and Anasta-sia Hendrick Rant, he was born Aug. 18, 1922 in New York City. He was married to the former Rita Buckley and lived in the area for three years. He was a retired New York City policeman and a school bus driver in Grahamsville. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Woodbourne, the PBA of New York City, newly elected officer of the Tri-Valley School Board and an Army Air Force veteran of World War n.

Funeral services will be Friday 11 m. at the Immaculate Concepts Church, Woodbourne. The Rev. John Maher will officiate. Rosary service will be recited Thursday 8 p.m.

at the Masterson Funeral Home, Woodbourne. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be at the Grahamsville Cemetery. Frank C. Booth KERHONKSON Frank C.

Booth, of Kerhonkson and formerly of Ellenville. died Tuesday at his home after a long illness. He was 55 years old. He was born in Wawarsing on Nov. 28, 1920.

He was married to the former Mayflower Gordon. Mr. Booth was chief mechanic for the Town of Wawarsing Highway Department and a lifelong resident of the area. He was a member of the Jehovah's Witness, Ellenville Congregation. He is survived by his wife at home; a stepson, Francis Dolan of Napanoch; a stepdaughter, Mrs.

Mary Feuman of Wawarsing and six step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. Elder Arthur Hower will officiate. Cremation will be at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.

Bartolo (Bob) DeBlase LIBERTY Bartolo (Bob) DeBlase, 82, formerly of Liberty, died Tuesday at Highland Hall Nursing Home, Essex, Conn after a long illness. He lived in Clinton, Conn. The son of Dominic and Mary Mirabito DeBlase, he was born Aug. 25, 1893 in Stromboli, Italy He was married to the former and the late Josephine Mirabito. He owned and operated a restaurant in Liberty for over 50 years.

He was a member of the Father Cronin Council of the Knights of Columbus, Liberty, and he was a conmunicant of St. Peter's R.C. Church, Liberty. He is survived by two sons, Carmine of Vestel and Father Dominic DeBlase of Salesian Order of St. John Bosco, New Rochelle; one daughter, Mrs.

Marie Travers of Clinton, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday 11 a.m. at St. Peter's R.C. Church, Liberty.

Ramon Pineiro, 78, of 42 Benjamin Middletown, died Tuesday at Hor-ton Hospital, Middletown. He was born in Ceiba, Puerto Rico on June 4, 1898, the son of Alejandro and Bibiana Cintron Pineiro. Mr. Pineiro was a retired maintenance worker for Consolidated Edison and a resident there for 15 years. He is survived by six daughters, Mrs America Power, Miss Rosa Julia Pineiro and Mrs.

Norma Luisa Monter, all of Puerto Rico, Mrs. Aida Isabel LoPriore of Middletown, Miss Mildred Pineiro of Fla and Mrs. Vivian Tweedy of N.J., four sons, Dr. Ramon Pineiro Monet, Ismael Pineiro and Cesae Enrique Pineiro, all of Puerto Rico and Nelson Pineiro of Middletown; several grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Arthur Malley, 58, of 819 Homestead Maybrook, died suddenly Wednesday at Horton Memorial Hospital, Middletown The son of Cornelius and Margaret Wildermoth Malley, he was born Oct. 30, 1917 in the Town of Montgomery. He was married to the former Grace Conklin and lived in the area for 58 years. He was a locomotive engineer for Conrail and was a member of VFW Post No. 2064, Maybrook, as well as past commander; the Disabled Veterans Post 144, Beacon; the 7th Armored Division Association, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, Local 844; the Elks Club No.

1097, Middletown; former trustee for the Village of Maybrook; founding member of the Maybrook Little League; communicant of the Church of the Assumption, Maybrook; former Democratic committeeman for the Town of Montgomery; a veteran of World War II. He received a Silver Star, Bronz Star and a Purple heart. He is survived oy his widow; a son, Arthur J. of Maybrook; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Tompkins of Montgomery; three brothers, William J.
